Wastewater treatment plant - SafeClean Risavika
In 2023, Novatek delivered the second wastewater treatment plant to SafeClean - which has several branches in Norway. SafeClean is an innovative competence environment in circular cleaning solutions, and Novatek has had a close and good collaboration for many years. The first was delivered to Kyrkjebø in 2019 and the second to Risavika in 2023.
The plant in Risavika is a state-of-the-art facility with a two-stage vacuum evaporator. The plant purifies the water from production so cleanly that there is no need for a discharge permit and the water can be used again in production. This is a good example of how the right technology creates a higher degree of reuse and even lower emissions.
